If you see something on the Internet or something has come to your mind and wish to share it with other people, you would need to either go to the Twitter website or pick up your phone to send your message. Tweet Tray provides you with a fast and comfortable way of getting your message across Twitter. Whenever you feel like sharing something, you can write your message right away, on your desktop, without going to any websites or looking for your phone.

Tweet Tray is absolutely free and you can have it up and running in no time. The installation package is small and the setup wizard will guide you through a few quick and simple steps. The application is available for Windows, Mac and Linux and it doesn't have any special requirements.

Once the application is up and running on your computer, you only need to click its system tray icon, to reveal a panel, on which you can type your message. Additionally, you can attach pictures, through a standard browsing option. When your message is complete and your images attached, you can simply click the "Tweet" button, on the same panel, and your message will be posted.

The software doesn't show you any tweets from other users. It is designed purely for tweeting messages, which makes it more suitable for people who wish to keep their followers up to date with the latest thoughts or bits of information.

When you run Tweet Tray for the first time, you will obviously need to connect to your Twitter account and allow the application to link with that account. The software has a simple configurations panel, which can be accessed on the same user interface. There are not many options to find, but you can still set the interface to night mode, if the bright colors are too much late in the evening and you can also set Tweet Tray to run automatically at startup.

Keeping your followers up to date with your latest activities can be one of the most simplest things you do, thanks to Tweet Tray's straightforward design and functionality.

Pros

You can post messages and pictures on Twitter at a moment's notice. The application works silently in the background and you can bring up its interface with a single click. Tweet Tray is lightweight, it doesn't use a significant amount of resources and it is quite easy to use.

Cons

You can't view tweets from other people.
